Cash Based Accounting
In April 2011 you mentioned "I will add the option to file the P&L using cash based accounting soon and add this as an option in the business settings.".
Has this been done as I can't find where to change to cash based accounting from the accrual method.
Thanks ... Ray

Sorry Ray, this hasn't been developed yet. I don't have any timescales yet I'm afraid.

Hi Ray,
I know it's been a long time, and I don't know if you're still using Easy Books or not. I hope you are obviously! If you're not, please just disregard the rest of this email.
You asked about whether Easy Books could support cash based accounting. This feature has recently moved to first place in our priority list and it's going to be delivered in the next few weeks. The app will now adjust the Profit & Loss report, making adjustments to the income and expense amounts shown in order to remove the value of unpaid invoices.
All the best,
Mathew

Hello Mathew,
Good to hear from you. Yes I still use Easy Books and have been manually adjusting invoice dates to run P&L reports. Glad I wan’t have to do this any more.
Thanks for making the requested update and I look forward to using it. I have also recommended this great software to a number of my small business clients.
Thanks for following up.
Regards … Ray
