I think I would suggest using Customer Statements as a reminder.
You create these in the same way as you would reconcile your bank
statements.

Suppose you have a customer with some invoices and (hopefully)
some payments made. The customer has paid you late in the past or
you noticed from the Aged Debt report that they are overdue. Create
a new statement (dated today) from the Statements screen. Move all
the sales and payments received onto the statement and send the
statement to them. This should show them the invoices you've
produced and the payments you've entered as having been made. The
outstanding balance is shown at the bottom.

When you change customer account information this will be used
whenever a PDF is generated in Easy Books. You can set
customer-specific terms which override the standard payment terms
(or standard estimate terms) from the customer account detail
screen,

All the best,
Mathew

Admin
