Firstly you'll need a backup file, that is unless you're already
using our Online Sync service. If you're not I'd recommend for
peace of mind. It's a way of keeping a continuous backup even if
you don't intend to sync another device.

To make a backup, start the app and click on the File menu.
You'll find Backup listed as one of the options.

Next, if you downloaded the app from the Mac App Store please do
the same on the new iMac. Alternatively, if you downloaded the app
from the web site do the same again! It's important to stick to the
same edition of the app because it's only possible to restore past
purchases into the same edition. If you don't know which one you
are using I can help, just let me know.

Once you've got it installed, I'd suggest using the add-ons
screen to restore your purchases. Depending on the edition, you'll
either need your Apple ID and password or your order number
(starting EB) and your email address.

After that, transfer the backup file you made on the Air to the
iMac. Then open it by double-clicking the file. This should open
Easy Books and give you the option to restore the data.

All the best,
