Vat
Hi just started to use this app. I have entered all of my customers and their outstanding balances, but it's not showing any vat? Any ideas would be appreciated.

Hi Steve
Have you enabled VAT in your business settings? If not, go to Settings, then under Business Settings choose VAT Registered - Yes. If you already have this set then we'll think again.
Hope this helps
Al

Hi Al, yes the setting was se for Vat Registered? One more question on the time tracker, can I email this to customers as a time sheet? Can I dd materials used to it?

Hi Steve
Regarding the time sheet, I don't think there is currently a way to email this out to a customer. I don't know what platform you are on but on the Mac I would just use Shift, Command and 4 to drag a screen shot around the time sheet and email this to my customer. If you are on an iOS device you could still make a screen shot (home button and on/off button simultaneously) but then you would need to import it into Photos and crop to suit before sending it.
That's what I would do for now, I don't know if Mathew knows of a better way?
Take care
Al

Thanks, trying to get to grips with this app. If I buy an item on a credit card, say diesel from tesco. Do I put in under purchases, or in the credit card account?

You can choose either. I would normally go via the "how I paid" account, in this case credit card. Then with account 1 as the credit card, set account 2 as the expense account.
