removing wrongly entered credit notes
hi there ,,, aim really trying to delete a wrongly entered
credit
it won't delete
tried to delete the customer and start again still won't delete
pleeeeeeease help

You can delete accounts only when there are no transactions linked on them as a safeguard.
To delete a transaction on the Mac app, click on it and use the delete/backspace key. On iOS tap on the transaction and then on the trash icon.

If the transaction will not delete, it could be that it is locked. If so, it will say in yellow letters at the bottom why this is. It could be locked because you've added it to a statement (reconciled it), or it could be that it is dated before a P&L period, or VAT return period.
Are you using the iPhone, iPad or Mac?

in india with a excluding gst but as u can see on the atttached pic i carnt change it please help

o no i have fixed that thanks just a problem trying to add a transaction to pay overseas and carnt change to exclud gst ??? it is stuck on incl gst ??

If you want to show all amounts ex GST, you can change this in the app preferences.

i have changed it n preferences like u said ,and still when i click on bank acc and then add a transaction it still reads inc gst with no option to change this please help???

Which other account are you linking the bank account with? Sometimes the only amount that makes sense is the inclusive amount.

iam linking it with a supplier account in india which somtimes sends products individually Ex gemstone thats under
the gst thesthold of $1000 so i need the option to exclude gst ,,,,, please help??

That makes sense then. When a bank account is linked to a supplier, the amount is just the amount transferred. There isn't a tax component in that case. There is though, if you record it as a purchase (which is a link from a supplier to an asset or expense). This will allow you to enter the ex-GST amount. When you pay the supplier, enter this as you are now, as a link from a bank account to the supplier account.

yes thats true ,,, but entering this as i am now ( a link from a bank acc to the supplier acc) gives u no option of ex gst
the system records it still as including gst ? so therefore even if the purchase invoice is ex gst the payment is inc gst
all accounting regarding gst will be wrong ? help again please?

You're entering it wrong I'm afraid. Use the purchases to enter it, where you can set GST.
The payment you make is not a taxable amount as I said before. It is simply a transfer of funds. The tax amount is handled by the purchase entry.
