I have the iPhone easy books and I purchased some of the add ons, Now I have the iMac easy books will the add ons I purchased on the iPhone do me for the iMac version, or will i have pay again. You do say that you don't have to buy twice for iOS, so dose that mean that you to buy again if you are using iMac. Please Confirm. Thank You

    Hi Damian,

I suppose the quick answer is "you don't". Need to pay again, that is. You can continue to use Easy Books for iOS, and you're not missing any features on the Mac version that you don't already have in iOS.

The Easy Books for iOS app will allow you to use it on any "device", by which we mean an iPhone, iPad, iPod Touch, and any iOS device that can purchase using in-app purchases from the iTunes App Store.

Easy Books for Mac OS X is not the same app, as it was completely re-written for the Mac platform. It is not technically possible to provide the app to people that have the iOS app. In the Mac App Store, this is also a contractual requirement that it should not be possible to unlock content in the app unless this is via the Mac App Store. Note that these two app stores are treated separately in Apple.

I understand your feeling on this though, and you must be disappointed that you're not getting the Mac app for free. If it helps to understand my position, I am a one-man company and have been working full-time on the Mac app now since March and as my wife reminds me, I've taken quite a big financial risk on developing the app for so long.

    All the best,

    Mathew
