Hi Matt,

I've bought a new MacBook (in a previous financial year before i started using EB) and I now want to record it as an asset. How would i do this please?

    I did like this:

    1. Adjust opening balance of checking account by $1200 debit
    2. Purchase Asset (Account 1 checking out account 2 asset in )

then you balance sheet will have asset showing Mac book as asset (equipment or you add up any account under asset.
