VAT filing

I'm still not getting this VAT thing. The button that says "file return" is greyed out. From what I understand this should take care of balancing the VAT accounts. How do I file a my VAT form?

   Check the date you have set for the end of the VAT period. That's under business settings. If the date has not passed yet you won't be able to file the return.

   It's my mistake! I've checked and found out that I wrongly entered a date outside this year (2011). Therefore I could not do the filing for the first quarter this year. Now it works! Thanks!
