I'm running Easy Books on an iPad - very happy with it so far.

Is it possible to enter a credit card purchase transaction with some standard rate and some zero rate items (entertainment bill)? When I add a split I can't see a place to set the VAT rate on the second line - seems to assume everything is the same VAT rate.

    Hi Gareth

Once you add the split there is no option to define a VAT rate until you select an account type in the Account 3 field. Once you have chosen the account (which can be the same as the Account 2 setting) then the VAT account selector will appear, enabling the option of a different VAT rate for the split. You can do this to enable a third split if necessary to have 0%, 5% and 20% all in the same transaction.

    Hope this helps

Thanks for the quick response. I should have tried it out before asking.

    Thank you,
