Combined taxes

I am considering to purchase your app. But it does not seem to support multiple cumulative sales taxes.

I live in Quebec, Canada. And we have GST and PST taxes that are cumulative. Ex: sub total + (sub total x GST) + (sub total + GST amount) x PST = total.

Thanks

Thank you for the email. You're right, it does not support cumulative sales taxes. You would need to enter the PST figure manually.

As an alternative, have you had a look into the app "bookkeeping" by warby? it might do what you want.

    Hi,

I have a similar issue, but am just getting familiar with the app. Could you walk through an example of the manual entry of the second tax?

    Thanks,
    Wade

I was thinking of adding a second line to each entry to contain the PST figure. It might not work for you, but you could try it and let me know how you get on. Manual entry would be to add a split in the transaction screen and set the tax in the split (leaving the split amount as zero).
