easybooks - data entry??

Hi I have tried the free sample, and can set up a business, but it won't let me enter data on the spreadsheet.
So have purchased the add-on (NOT CHEAP) and still same problem. Any ideas? have read the how to set up page - still stuck

    Have you got the Mac version or the IOS iphone version?

    Entering data is usually done by clicking on the 'plus' button on the top right of the mac app and IOS versions.
