I want to setup using Easybooks and to let my accountant have access so he can alsoprocess transactions and review what is going on in my business. Does that mean he has to purchase a copy of Easybooks? What other fees will be incurred for my accountant to have access? Also does that mean if he has other clients using Easybooks they will also be able see see my data as well?

    Hi Russel,

Your accountant will probably want to use the Mac app, but of course they could opt for the iOS app instead or as well.

They will need to purchase the "Transactions" add-on if they want to enter information into your books, but this is a one-off purchase that will work for as many clients as they want.

About the Online Sync sharing, don't worry, your accountant will be able to access your business(es), but as the owner of the business record, you are the only one that can create a new share. Your accountant's other clients will not see any of your information. If you want to pass on my details to your accountant I will be happy to talk to them about whether it will be a good solution for you both.

    All the best,

    Mathew

    Hi Mathew

Thank you for the response. So my accountant would have to buy the transactions and online sync add ons is that correct? Also I am using an iPad and will download the program onto my iPad but my accountant is using a Mac. Will the Mac be able to sync with the iPad as from what I understand the Mac program is different to the iPad program that we can download.

    Thanks

    Russel

Yes, that's right and the app will sync between all devices. The following link will help, easybooksapp.com/sync/sharing.

    All the best
