Sharing company file between two iTunes accounts

I've started using Easy Books on my iPad and love it but I do have one question. I was wondering if it was possible to share the company file across multiple iTunes accounts? I realise this would mean purchasing all add-ons more than once, but I'm happy with that, it would just be nice is more than 1 person could access the company books at any one time.

I'm assuming you're already thinking about this with the up-coming Mac version but just thought I'd ask?

BTW: The app is brilliant!

  1. Hi David,

The good news is yes, you can share one or more businesses with another user.

You can either do this manually by sending them a backup file containing just the businesses you want to share with them, but the much easier method is to use the Online Sync service.

If you have already signed up for the service (https://sync.easybooksapp.com) you can login, then go to the Sharing tab as shown in the attached file (below). To send the business(es) to another user you will need either their username or their email address. If the person you are sending the invitation to is already a user in the online sync system, you can use their username. Otherwise the system will send out an invitation email to the email address you give.

Your friend will then login to the system using the browser as you did and will see a yellow panel that tells them they have an invitation to view from you. They can then accept or deny your invitation. Assuming they accept it, the businesses you selected will then become available to them to download on all their devices.

I hope that helps, let me know if you need more help or let me know how it went!

    Mathew
