I run a small building company and we need to record purchases against different jobs. Sometimes a visit to a supplier results in purchases on one transaction for more than one job. Is there a way of recording this information and then being able to list transactions against each job or import them into end of month invoices?

Hi Andrew,
Sorry but this isn't supported I'm afraid - it's supposed to be "easy" books, and this adds a level of complexity most people don't need.
But here's a workaround you might get on with, try it and see. You could add an expense account for the type of expense (eg materials). In that container account you could add expense accounts for each job. This would mean from the app you could see a breakdown of expenses per job. Your P&L report will by default show only the container accounts unless you choose to view the lower level contained accounts, so it will still show an overall total for materials etc.
I hope that helps, I'm sorry it doesn't do what you need "out of the box".
Mathew

Many thanks Matthew.
I've used the 'workaround' you suggested. It works for me. Just what I was after. Thanks for the advice and keep up the good work there at Geode, developing EasyBooks.
