usable in the US, with dollars and no VAT? Can its data be downloaded to US
tax software, eg Turbo Tax? Thanks.

Yes, Easy Books will work in US just fine. You can change the VAT over to GST if you like, or turn it off completely.

But there isn't an import feature yet I'm afraid. Sorry. I'm going to add it in the future, but there's a lot of work to do first. The best option is probably to use your existing software to give you a set of opening balances and use these in the accounts you set up with Easy Books.
