I am keen to know whether or not it is possible to export data from Easy Books in an XL format that could also be compatible with a Windows laptop?

I assume that once data in entered for a particular business then it is possible to create back-up files. I wanted to check what format these back-up files could take and whether any of these would be compatible with Windows as well as OS X as I use both operating systems on different laptops.

Yes, you can export from Easy Books in CSV format that you could import into Excel.

The app can create backup files easily, which can be emailed or sent to another app on the device such as Dropbox or Evernote. These two services provide online backup.

We also provide an online backup service, which keeps up to date automatically as each transaction is saved. If you use more than one device it will sync each device as you go so you'll always have multiple copies of your data. The backup file itself is not compatible with any Windows software though, you would need to export the reports in CSV format and import them into Excel.

The app is free to use for the first 120 transactions, so feel free to give it a try and see if it works for you.

I am using Easy Books for Mac OS X version 2.6.5.

I need to print an Audit Report and also to save various reports in .CSV format.

I cannot find a Save As . ., an Export . . or a Print . . menu item to achieve any one of these. I have also searched the downloaded user manual and all I can find is an assertion that it is possible to do all of these things. It does not tell me how.

    Please tell me how to:
    a) print a report direct to a printer and
    b) save a report as a .CSV file
