How to finish a flat rate VAT return

Hi

Following my other post: "How to enter flat rate vat" it appears that I am missing something about finishing a flat rate VAT return.

I have setup the flat rate and the standard rate as you describe.

From your answer, there seems to be a step that I am missing to complete this VAT return whereby the flat rate that I pay HMRC will be deducted from my checking account and the VAT that I keep goes into an income account.

Please could you let me know this step that I am missing pls? Is there an online tutorial available?
