Restoring purchase

I bought Easybooks for my first iPad, I bought unlimited transactions.
I installed it on my new iPad, tried restoring the purchase : unlimited transactions: buy for 2à something Euros.
OK, I had online syncing. I used my old ipad for the transactions and it synced to my new one, which stayed a slave, good for looking, not for doing.
Today I bought 6-month online syncing but with my new iPad. I tried to restore the add-on to my old iPad, logged in, etc. and got a failure message, saying to connect with the account I bought the app with.
I have only one AppStore account, one email attached to it, so I don't really understand what the problem is. (I have tried several times)
I really like easy books, but this flusters me.

Thank you for your help,

The Apple message implies a different Apple ID was used, I'm afraid. The contact for this would be Apple Support.

I'm sorry you are having a problem with it, we have been advised by Apple that in some cases card details may have expired, or the system with Apple is too busy and try later.

    I hope that helps,

    Karen

    Hi,

I'm also having the same problem. I've bought the unlimited transactions add-ons on my old macbook. And then I want to restore the purchases on my new macbook.

Unfortunately, I downloaded the easybooks on the new macbook using different Apple ID. For your informations, I'm also using the online sync thus on my new macbook, I can't update my account in it since all my transactions on the new macbook have been used.

I've tried to restore the purchases using the same Apple ID that I used to purchase the unlimited transactions but failed. What should I do? Should I uninstall it and then install it using the same Apple ID that I've used to purchase the unlimited transactions or what?

    Please help me. Thanks

Hi Amy, I hope I got your name right.

Yes, if you've downloaded and installed the app using a different Apple ID, you'll need to delete the app by moving it into the trash, then re-download the app using the original Apple ID that you've used for previous purchases.

    Thanks Mathew

But what about the businesses that I've synced before? Should I delete them as well before uninstall it?

    Hi Amy,

You might want to make a backup first just to be safe. But deleting the app won't delete its data. When you re-install the app, it will start with the same data as the old copy.
