I am using the sync feature along with some of the other paid features on my iPad and iPhone. I recently installed Easy Books on my MacBook Air and noticed that I was limited on my transactions. One of the options I purchased on my IOS devices was unlimited transactions but when I try to use my EMail address to restore that option on my MacBook Easy Books it does not work. I wants me to purchase the unlimited transactions again.

Yes, you can only use the iOS version on those devices and not on the MAc, they are different apps.
