Canadian taxes

Hello Mathew,

As I explained you about 2 months ago, in Quebec (Canada) we have 2 taxes - for Canada (TPS) at 5.5 % and a Quebec province taxe (TVQ) at 8,5% added to Canada taxes.  Exemple for a purchase of 100$:  5% TPS= 5$ for a subtotal of 105$ and 8,5% TVQ = 8,93$ for a total of 113,93$.

I've done my taxes reports today to return taxes to gouvernements.  Unfortunately, your report doesn't allow me to separate taxes.  I can not get taxes separately at the time of data entry, and when I print the report taxes.  I have to return taxes separetely and it was a really big gymnastic and headache today to do my taxes return.

As you remember probably, our combined rate needs 3 digits.  But maybe it would be better to have the possibility to add another field for a second taxe, even if I have to enter each taxes at each purchase or sale, allowing me to get the sum of each taxe in the report taxes return at the end or a period.

Do tou have any suggestion to resolve my problem or to make your apps more accurate for Canada? ... and to get rid of my headhache! :-)

Thanks!
