Backup file size question
Hi, I keep backing up to Dropbox and suddenly realized the backup file size gets smaller and smaller eve though I've been adding more and more data to the accounts, why is that? Is it normal? Should I be worried? Tried restoring the last backup file on a second ios device than the iPad I used to normally work on the accounts and it seemed to restore all right... But this diminishing file size still bugs me unless there's an logical explanation... Someone spots the same issue?

Hi Chris,
It shouldn't get smaller indefinitely, but it's perfectly possible that the file can get smaller. It makes use of compression internally so there are times where more compression is possible and may reduce the overall file size. It just depends on the actual content how much compression is achieved.

Hi Mathew,
That's comforting to know it's normal and you're right, it's not getting smaller indefinately, it gorws back up a bit in some backups... Thanks!
Chris
