credit card cut-off dates

I am SUCH a novice at accounting - but am getting there with easy books. (Thanks Josh you solved one of my problems. )
Q: I entered a credit card payment, amongst the expenditure, in error. How do i delete it as it also appears on my monthly statement.

You sort of answered it! So not such a novice, really!
You need to edit the statement to delete the entry. It can't be deleted if it is entered on a statement.
