Hello Sir/ Madam,

We are using Easybooks in IPAD & MAC. There is problem appearing in sequence of invoice numbers.

For the new financial year starting (from 01-Apr-2013), we give a new invoice number starting from 1,2,3, and so on........... When we create a sale it picks up the numbers of the invoices that were deleted in the last financial year instead of picking the numbers in sequence.

Can this be resolved?

Thanks & Regards,
Tejashwini

Easy Books generates invoice numbers based on previous ones. See http://easybooksapp.com/user-guide/ios/sale-form

    Hi,

Once the P&L is consolidated, the invoice numbers are not in sequence.

Eg: Suppose I create a new sale on 01-Apr-2013(staring of new financial year) giving 1 in the Invoice Number column, then if I'm creating another new sale it picks up the deleted invoice number of last financial year(Eg. 76) instead of 2.

My query is we want the numbers to come in a sequence. Can that be resolved.

    Thanks.

Sorry, this is not how the invoice number generation works in Easy Books. Consolidating does not delete the old invoices.

    Hi,

We know Consolidating does not delete the old invoices. Which ever invoices we had deleted in the past, those invoices are getting picked up when we create a new sale.
