Hi just testing easy oops at the moment.
Is there or could there be a restricted version so that a employee
could add invoices on there device without having access to any
other data?

No, there isn't a restriction like this I'm afraid. That's just to keep things simple, after all, that's the main aim for the app.

Thank you for your prompt reply.
Yes simplicity is what I am after. This feature would mean I do not have to manually input my employees invoices and would keep my books instantly up to date. Is this something you may consider adding now or in the future?
I am currently using quickbooks and looking for a alternative.
Other first thoughts...
Would be good if date was today's date on invoices by default.
Also a more fools proof way of adding payments to customers accounts.
Thanks for considering
Jim

No, I wouldn't add complexity to the app to allow certain features and not others. Employees would be able to add invoices, but they would also have full access to the rest of your books. It could be that a companion app would be useful here. Perhaps "Easy Invoicing" or something. This would then allow people to add invoices to your accounts without them needing to use the full accounts package. Of course it would also need to sync with the Online Sync service too. So thanks for the idea, I'll add it to the list.
While I'm replying, here are a couple of tips that help along the lines you wrote about.
* Tap and hold on the date field to auto-set todays date. It's a little quicker than tapping twice to set the date to today.
* Have you already tried using the "receive payment" option at the bottom of the sales entry screen? This will apply the whole sale as a payment on the customer account quickly for you, but doesn't handle part-payments.

I would certainly buy a companion app. (happy to beta test if u require).
Great on date entry. Can't see option to add payment but I am guessing this is only on iPad not iPhone I will look when I get home.
Nice app thank you for your help

Here is the option for receiving payment. You'll also find it on the iPhone version as well.
