Consolidation
After applying latest upgrade I find I cannot undo the last consolidation. However, if I change the business to another, then back again my last consolidation has been undone, whether I wanted it to be or not! Am I doing something wrong?

I'll look into it and get back to you. It could be that the undo does in fact work, but it doesn't immediately update on screen perhaps.

I tried doing consolidation - seems to work except displays start date as first transaction date and end date as current date and next p&L consolidation jumps automatically to next year.
Also I dont get undo consolidation option or previous period option that appear on the Demosys example immediately after consolidation.
Suspect I have something set wrongly?

I've tested it over here and it works fine I think.
Check the date of your next P&L in the business settings before you consolidate anything. Then you should find you can just consolidate each year and the app will automatically set the date consolidation date for you. You can undo each consolidation you've done too.

After playing around I find that the problem only occurs if I have the next P&L consolidation date set at 31st March. If I change it to 1st April (2011) then everything appears to work fine.

Are you using the current version of the app? Describe the exact problem and I'll see if I can reproduce it.

I have narrowed it down to 1 transaction. It's an IT equipment purchase which goes into fixed assets>IT equipment. It looks identical to some other transactions in Fixed Assets>Equipment. The item was bought 3 days before the year end so has no depreciation charge for the year ending 31/3/11. If I put in a charge of 0.01 against IT equipment before the year end, however, everything works fine. The same doesn't apply to Fixed Assets>Equipment which looks identical! If I set up a new company and type in what looks like identical transactions I don't get the problem and can put depreciation charge where I want it.
Confused, but at least in now works.
