Hi,
I have been using Easy Books for a few months now for my Fruit & Veg business. Great piece of software. I use Easy Books on my iPhone & ipad, I have just download Easy Books for my Mac. The question is, do I have to purchase the ( Invoice & Transactions ) add on for the Mac, when I have already purchased these already?

Look forward to hearing from you.

    Hi Gary,

I'm afraid you would need to purchase the add-ons for Mac if you wanted to
use the Mac app. You don't need to purchase Online Sync for each platform,
this is an online service external from the app that keeps the data in sync.

Try it out first, to see if you like it.

Do you have a username on the sync server? If you do, I've created a quick video showing how you can login, pick the business from the list and have it download to your Mac. It's on YouTube at http://youtu.be/ivqPEBmWZvc?hd=1

If you haven't uploaded from the iPad yet, and if you don't have an Online Sync account, you can register at hhtps://sync.easybooksapp.com. You'll receive an email containing an attachment. If you open the mail message on your iPad, you can open this attachment and it will set the username and password in Easy Books for you. It will also do the same on the Mac version if you can view the mail message there as well. This next video was created for the iPhone version of the app, and shows the process of uploading your business from the iPhone to the Online Sync service. It picks up immediately after the settings file has been opened from mail, Easy Books has launched and logged in. This video is at http://youtu.be/OH5ICgYTNUo?hd=1

    I hope that helps,

    Mathew

Oh, it looks like a typo. It shouldn't be hhtps, it should be https://sync.easybooksapp.com
    Sorry about that,
    Mathew

P.S. You can share your accounts using Online Sync with your CPA if they also have a Mac!

Hi Mathew, I have loaded the sync, and have my records on both my iPad and my Mac. I was wondering, do I have to pay for this? All I want is to sync the two computers. I have everything on my external hard drive for back up.
    Thanks

    Hi Lisa,

You are sending emails to the wrong person some how. I do not have anything to
    do with Easy Books.

    Kindest regards

    Hi Lisa,

No, you don't need to pay for sync if you don't use it. You can manually backup and restore between computers, or between computers and iOS devices. The service just makes it easier that's all.
