Budgets
Hey Mathew,
Working with budgets now and was a bit confused how to
understand it. I have set up my account with budget set to 225.00
but I am confused how to read it,
The actual amount is 225.00 but the budget does not seem correct, I
might be reading backwards is the red negative and green
positive?
I have even seen green numbers with a negative sign, looked on you
tube for help but nothing, was not sure if there is a ore detailed
description I can read or view.
From here the screen shot shows.
Actual = 225.00 this is what I spent
Budget shows 21.77. Should this show 225.00 like I set it or
not?
Difference is 203.23
% budget is 933.5 and is in red
My budget is set to 225.00 monthly so I thought it would show
0.00 difference or overage / underage %
This is where I am confused,
Thank you,
Any other literature would be helpfull

The report shows the budget amounts adjusted for the period, so it depends on what period you're looking at. Green is used as "good" and red as "bad". So if you're higher than budget for income, it shows green. And if expenses are less than budget they'll be green too.
Sorry there isn't anything in the docs for budgets. Someone requested the feature like this a long time ago and it's probably time I looked back at it and created something in the user guide. But I have too many things to add to the app that seem more important at the moment, always the way...
All the best,
Mathew
