Hello, there are a few things that I can't make work on your new Mac Easy Books. I have been using it on IOS devices for about a year.

On the Mac...
I can't find a way to show accounts in colour (this really helps as it visibly distinguishes between money in and out etc.)

I see no way of setting Pass code lock. This is essential as I can't have people snooping or messing about with my book keeping.

When I click on "Easy Books" then "Add-ons" a window appears showing available options an prices. This window is not scrollable so the 3rd option (Online syncing) is only partially visible - I can not see if this ticked or not, I can't see if there are any further options. Perhaps I could using a large monitor but this is not visible on my 17" Macbook Pro screen (most Mac laptops are smaller than this).

Please help.

    Hi Chris,

Sorry, there isn't a colour option. I've handed the challenge of adding colour to the Mac app to my designer so I'll keep you posted.

There isn't a passcode lock function in the app. Someone else asked about this and the end result was that it isn't a simple matter to add the passcode in a secure way. The passcode would give the impression of securing the data, when in fact someone could take a copy of the database using Finder and extract your business data that way.

Instead, to keep your data secure, I recommend using the built-in Mac disk encryption and using a complex password for your account.

The add-ons screen is scrollable, but the scroll bars are hidden by default. You should be able to scroll with the mouse to view more of the add-ons available.

    All the best,

    Mathew
