Allocate purchases to a customer

Is there a way to allocate a specific purchase to a customer? I would like to be able to not only invoice for labor (time tracker) but also for materials (purchases made).

This is very important. I have a construction business that works on time & materials.

Also, is there any provision for creating estimates?

Please advise
