Scheduled Transactions

Love the program but not so keen on the way Schedlued / Recurring Transactions automatically update with no user input. The reason being that I find that many of my recurring transactions change monthly, e.g. phone bills paid by direct debit. I also use the program for my Explorer Scout Unit's accounts and there have set up repeats for all the members weekly subs but this needs altering if they aren't present that week.
Is it possible to have a pop up to tell you that you have scheduled / recurring transactions due for posting when you open the program, or a new company in the program, so that you then see a full list of all the scheduled items and can either approve immediately or amend each transaction before approving?
This would save having a lot of auto entered transactions that I need to then trace to alter manually.
I realise that the fluctuations could be picked up from bank accounts when reconciling but with my Scout subs for instance, these are cash transactions and this is therefore not the case.
If you can add something along these lines I'm sure it would make recurring transactions easier to control for everyone and improve an already fantastic app.
Thanks.

I think you might be better off entering these manually instead. You can use a previous entry and duplicate it to save time. The recurring transactions feature is really for standing orders, where the amount is the same and you are in control of it. It isn't as good for direct debits where the amount changes, but it can still work as long as we check the amount.

Thanks for the suggestion though, I just think most people don't want to see a lot of popups and this would add more of them.
